Sono fuori Parigi per due giorni. Spero che tu sia tornato soddisfatto del tuo viaggio. Un caloroso saluto dal tuo vecchio Raoul Dufy. Il poeta provenzale Joachim Marius Alexandre Gasquet (1873-1921) fu un grande amico di Paul Cézanne. Dufy ne dipinse il ritratto nel 1919 e lo disegnò a pastello nel 1929, proprio come aveva fatto Cézanne nel 1896.
