Illustrata da due grandi carte topografiche ripiegate fuori testo raffiguranti la Sardegna antica e moderna, 1 tavola di monete, 2 tavole di costumi popolari il tutto litografato dal figlio dell'autore, Alfred (restauri grossolani agli strappi delle tavole, bruniture sparse, alcune macchie.) Legatura tarda in mezza tela beige, titolo in oro al dorso liscio. L’opera esaminata l’isola dal punto di vista geografico, naturalistico, folkloristico, storico e amministrativo.
