Targa svizzera 846 A 9'000 / 15'000 € Nel 2001, Harley-Davidson fa scalpore presentando, per la prima volta nella sua gamma, un motore a raffreddamento liquido. Si tratta sempre di un bicilindrico a V, ma per la prima volta per il costruttore di Milwaukee questo blocco è raffreddato a liquido. Progettato in collaborazione con Porsche, questo motore «Revolution» ha una cilindrata di 1'130 cm³. La moto che monta questo motore si chiama «VRSCA V-Rod». Nella V-Rod, questo 1.130 cm³ eroga 115 ch, ovvero 50 ch in più rispetto al potente 1.450 Twin Cam, che equipaggia praticamente tutta la gamma. Questa moto non può lasciare indifferenti. Lunga, bassa, dal profilo muscoloso, la moto non passa inosservata. Non possiamo garantirne il corretto funzionamento, pertanto potrebbe essere necessario un intervento di rimessa in funzione.
