Pittore romagnolo, inizio sec. XVI SAN SEBASTIANO olio su tavola, cm 64,5x102, senza cornice Painter from Romagna, early 16th century SAINT SEBASTIAN oil on panel, 64.5x102 cm, unframed Il dipinto presenta San Sebastiano legato ad una colonna e seduto su un elegante drappo rosso. Le caratteristiche stilistiche dell'opera rimandano alla pittura romagnola della prima metà del '500 e in particolare i confronti più precisi possono essere effettuati con il catalogo di Benedetto Coda (1492/1495 - 1535) e del figlio Bartolomeo (attivo fino al 1543 circa). Alcuni dettagli, come la costruzione delle mani, o l'anatomia del ventre possono essere ben confrontati con la pala della chiesa di San Domenico a Ravenna, il Compianto della Basilica della Madonna del Monte di Cesena o la Madonna con Bambino in trono tra angeli e santi del Museo della Città di Rimini.
