Il dio Osiride; Egitto, Periodo Tardo, 664–323 a.C. Bronzo. Dimensioni: 12 cm di altezza; 13,5 cm con la base. Provenienza: lascito familiare di Ramon Martí Alsina e Ricard Martí Aguiló. Collezione archeologica costituita a partire dagli anni ’50 da successive generazioni della famiglia attraverso acquisizioni presso gallerie e case d’asta europee. In precedenza apparteneva a una collezione privata asiatica. Statuetta in bronzo fusa a tutto tondo, raffigurante Osiride con il bastone pastorale e il flagello sul petto e la corona Atef. Questi sono gli attributi iconografici più caratteristici di questa divinità, che rappresentano il potere e l’autorità di Osiride come re degli dei e sovrano supremo della terra e dei raccolti.
