MICHELIN - 1960 circa Pneumatico per autocarro - Rara targa pubblicitaria smaltata originale, a un solo lato, con bordi rialzati e alette a forma di scudo. Circa 45 x 37,5 cm. «EAS» Questa targa, splendida sotto ogni punto di vista, presenta una lucentezza e colori originali perfetti, come il primo giorno. Realizzata dalla smaltiera alsaziana di Strasburgo, questa versione è di ottima qualità e conserva i suoi tre occhielli originali in ottone nei punti di fissaggio. Si notano solo minime scheggiature dello smalto agli angoli. - un esemplare davvero splendido - Vi si vede il Bibendum ispirato a O’Galop (Marius Roussillon) accanto a uno pneumatico da «camion», un’immagine che attraversa il tempo. André Michelin e suo fratello Édouard Michelin rilevano nel 1886 l’azienda di famiglia Barbier-Daubrée. A Clermont-Ferrand, il 28 maggio 1889, la ragione sociale della manifattura diventa «Michelin et Cie». Puy-de-Dôme/Alvernia-Rodano-Alpi
