Heinrich Bürkel, attribuito, Campagna romana lungo corteo composto da una coppia a cavallo con un bambino, asini, un pastore e un gregge di pecore su un sentiero in un paesaggio italiano pianeggiante e circondato da colline; nella parte inferiore dell’immagine, un cane che tiene a bada un serpente; a destra, altri asini carichi, acquerello in grisaglia con tocchi di bianco, su carta color camoscio, secondo terzo del XIX secolo, firmato in basso a sinistra «Bürkel», sul retro recante i dati dell’artista e il titolo, segni di usura dovuti all’età, incorniciato sotto passe-partout dietro vetro, apertura del passe-partout ca. 23 x 34,5 cm. Informazioni sull’artista: pittore tedesco di scene di genere, animali e paesaggi (1802 Pirmasens – 1869 Monaco di Baviera), in Italia nel 1831-32, in particolare a Roma e Napoli, successivamente attivo a Monaco di Baviera, fonte: Thieme-Becker.
