ATTRIBUITO A THEODORE DE BRUYN (OLANDESE, 1726-1804) VISTA VERSO LA TENDA TURCA, PAINSHILL PARK, COBHAM olio su tela, 86 cm x 107 cm, incorniciato. Il dipinto era di proprietà di Brian Abel-Smith, parente della famiglia Dorrien-Smith, titolare del contratto di locazione dell’Isola di Tresco. Brian ereditò numerose opere d’arte e mobili alla morte del suo parente e, dopo la morte di Brian, il suo compagno John Sarbutt ereditò i dipinti. Il fratello di Brian era Lionel Abel-Smith, all’epoca Lord di Wendover. Da lì, per via ereditaria, è giunto all’attuale venditore.
