Una Starr Arms Mod. 1858 Army D.A. Calibro .44 (polvere nera), n. 8193, numero corrispondente. Canna rotonda e ruvida da 6" con canna basculante e leggero rigonfiamento. Sul lato sinistro del telaio reca la scritta “Starr.Arms.Co.New.York.”, a destra “Starr's Patent Jan.15. 1856”. Modello DA con due grilletto: il grilletto anteriore, più grande, serve per armare il cane; tirandolo ulteriormente, si aziona il grilletto posteriore, più piccolo, che fa partire il colpo. Parti metalliche completamente lucide con piccole macchie d’olio. Impugnatura in noce scuro e consumata con lievi tracce residue del cartiglio dell’ispettore. Meccanicamente in ordine. Lunghezza circa 30 cm.
