Fucile da fanteria M 1857, Mutzig Canna ottagonale che sfuma in forma circolare, con anima ruvida a quattro righe, calibro 18 mm. Diverse marcature intorno alla camera di scoppio; sulla testa della vite di chiusura è riportata la denominazione del modello. La canna presenta in alcuni punti lievi segni di usura. Canna con otturatore a percussione posteriore recante la scritta «Mre Impale de Mutzig». Otturatore a percussione dal funzionamento scorrevole. Calcio a pieno fusto rifinito con finiture in ferro, con segni di corrosione. Bacchetta di caricamento in ferro. Cinghia in pelle regolabile in lunghezza, probabilmente originale. Lunghezza 142 cm. Condizione: III +
