Ritratto di un riservista appartenente alle forze coloniali dell’Africa sud-occidentale tedesca Grande stampa a colori, firmata in basso a sinistra «Disegnato da Karl Werner, ex soldato delle truppe di protezione», con ritratti del riservista inseriti nell’opera. Si distinguono chiaramente i dettagli dell’equipaggiamento e dell’uniforme. Il tutto è incorniciato da raffigurazioni patriottiche in linea con il gusto dell’epoca. In alto l’imperatore Guglielmo II, in uniforme delle Gardes du Corps; alla sua sinistra Ludwig Gustav Adolf von Estorff (1859 - 1943), comandante delle truppe coloniali nell’Africa sud-occidentale tedesca dal 1907 al 1911; alla sua destra von Deimling (1853-1944), anch’egli comandante delle truppe coloniali. Superficie dell’immagine leggermente macchiata, sotto vetro in cornice di legno laccato (ammaccata). Dimensioni della cornice: circa 68 x 88 cm. Raro. Condizione: II
