Un bastone feticcio dei Bakundu del Camerun e un trofeo di springbok proveniente dal Sud-Ovest africano tedesco Il bastone ha la forma di una punta di lancia in ferro con un lungo pomello; l’estremità inferiore è avvolta in rafia, mentre la lama non affilata reca un’antica iscrizione bianca che recita: «Bastone feticcio, Bakundu, Camerun – Spellenberg, Seeger». Lunghezza 81,5 cm, montato su una base in metallo bianco a rilievo con etichetta sul lato inferiore dell’Associazione dei Veterani Coloniali Tedeschi. Altezza totale 93 cm. Il trofeo di springbok con la scritta «DSW 1905» sul cranio scheletrato. Montato su una tavola di legno. Lunghezza delle corna 29 e 30 cm, altezza totale circa 53 cm. Il Manuale coloniale tedesco del 1903 riporta la presenza a Duala, in Camerun, di un missionario di nome Spellenberg. Condizioni: II -
