Mezzo busto riprodotto fotograficamente; le spalline da feldmaresciallo, le decorazioni, i rinforzi sulle maniche e il fodero della spada sono dipinti a mano. Dimensioni della targa: 18 x 13 cm. In cornice di legno laccata di nero con modanatura interna dorata. Dimensioni della cornice: 27,5 x 22,5 cm. Nel novembre 1914 Paul von Hindenburg fu promosso a feldmaresciallo generale.
