Un elmo per soldati semplici/sottufficiali dei reggimenti di dragoni granducali dell’Assia n. 23 o n. 24, 1900 circa Cuffia in pelle laccata nera (screpolata, segni di calore) con visiera frontale rotonda e finiture argentate. Emblema del leone fissato con rivetti sulla parte frontale. Croce con quattro rivetti a testa tonda, su cui è montata una punta svitabile di forma assiana, barra posteriore, catene a scaglie bombate rivestite in pelle fissate a rosette avvitate, entrambe le coccarde in lamiera di ferro verniciata. Fodera in pelle nera con linguette ben conservata (piccoli strappi isolati); all’interno della calotta è visibile la vecchia indicazione della taglia «57». In dotazione una custodia per l’elmo. Parzialmente leggermente danneggiato, segni di usura e di invecchiamento. Molto raro e ben conservato. Condizione: II
