Un elmo tedesco di tipo “Maximilian Close”, nello stile del 1520 circa, del 1900 circa Calotta pesante forgiata in un unico pezzo con tre creste piatte e una robusta scanalatura perimetrale; alla nuca è rivettata una guaina in ferro per il ciuffo di piume. Visiera posteriore a due pezzi, anch’essa finemente scanalata. Bordi incassati, con bordi leggermente ribattuti e allacciati. Visiera rialzata e fascia sottogola, sul lato destro con chiusure a molla. Visiera a forma di volto di scimmia con fessure separate per la vista e aperture di respirazione a forma di fessura. All’interno, resti di rivestimento in pelle. Superfici in parte ossidate. Altezza 31 cm. Condizione: II
