Elmo da corazziero francese, 1620 circa Calotta realizzata in due parti con cresta piatta, bordata e finemente allacciata, che termina nella parte posteriore della testa con una punta su cui è applicato un pomello a forma di ghianda. La calotta presenta scanalature radiali su tutto il perimetro e, nella zona della nuca, un manicotto in ferro per il ciuffo di piume fissato con rivetti. Visiera affusolata e rialzata con visiera a fibbia fissata con rivetti. La visiera è strappata lateralmente. Sottogola rialzato, l’apertura per il viso presenta un bordo finemente bordato e allacciato. Occhiello di chiusura a molla per la visiera, non funzionante. Chiusura a gancio laterale. Ampio colletto a doppio risvolto con bordo finemente bordato e allacciato. Rivestimento interno in pelle rinnovato. Superfici rifinite, leggermente grana. Altezza 33 cm. Condizione: II -
