Burgonetta in bianco e nero della Germania settentrionale, metà del XVI secolo Calotta pesante, forgiata in un unico pezzo, di “tipo ungherese” con quattro robuste nervature; in corrispondenza della sommità, un massiccio pomello a forma di ghianda. Decorazione in rilievo con motivi a giglio. Visiera posteriore a forma di punta, lavorata in un unico pezzo. Visiera frontale rialzata con bordo bordato e pieghettato. Guance fortemente bombate, fissate con cerniera, ciascuna con quattro fori per le orecchie. Sono presenti i passanti originali in pelle per il sottogola. All’interno, lievi tracce di un numero di inventario rosso. Altezza 25,5 cm. Elmo di alta qualità, ben realizzato e in buone condizioni. Provenienza: ex collezione del Castello di Sigmaringen. Pezzi simili sono ancora oggi esposti in quella sede. Condizione: II
