PÉLADAN (Joséphin). Semiramide. sl, sn, sd [1897]. In-4 brossurato, copertina stampata (un po’ consumata). Edizione originale molto rara su un argomento esoterico, tema caro al «Sâr» Péladan. Si tratta della quinta tragedia del Théâtre de la Rose-Croix scritta per Sarah Bernhardt. Fondato da Péladan sulla scia dei Saloni della Rosa Croce, questo teatro simbolista intendeva contrapporre al naturalismo un’arte drammatica sacra e iniziatica, traendo ispirazione dalle mitologie, dal misticismo e dall’esoterismo. Una nota sul retro del frontespizio indica una tiratura limitata a poche copie, tutte autografate; questa copia, su carta giapponese, non rifilata, non reca alcuna firma. Dorso interno leggermente staccato, minime forature sparse.
