Il sigillo della corporazione dei conciatori di Hildesheim, tedesco, 1700 circa Matrice in ottone dalla fattura robusta, elaborata e con incisioni profonde, con la scritta perimetrale “Lohgerber Ampts Siegel in Hildesheim”. Nel campo del sigillo, uno splendido stemma con un portachiavi e rampicanti che si estendono ampiamente. Manico tornito a gradini in legno di faggio con una bella decorazione a tacche e, in alcuni punti, resti di ornamenti geometrici finemente incisi. Segni di usura e minuscole imperfezioni nel legno. Altezza 16 cm, diametro della matrice circa 53 mm. Provenienza: Collezione britannica di David Morris. Condizione: II
