"La Rieuse" in bronzo, Hippolyte François Moreau (Digione 1832 – 1927 Neuilly-sur-Seine), 1900 circa Bronzo, patinato di marrone. Busto di una giovane donna con acconciatura raccolta e testa leggermente inclinata verso l’alto, bocca delicatamente socchiusa; orlo del vestito movimentato con pieghe voluminose; su piedistallo integrato. Firmato lateralmente «Hip. Moreau»; sul davanti, targhetta in bronzo «RIEUSE / Par Hip. Moreau». Montato su un piedistallo separato in legno rivestito in tessuto rosso. Patina con tracce parziali di abrasione e punti lucidi, in particolare sulla punta del naso; sporadici graffi sottili e piccole irregolarità superficiali. Base in legno con danni evidenti: rivestimento in tessuto parzialmente staccato o screpolato, crepe, spaccature e perdite di materiale nel legno. Moreau studiò all’École des Beaux-Arts di Parigi con François Jouffroy ed esponeva regolarmente al Salon di Parigi.
