Orario di asta: circa 12:07 (orario indicativo) Ricco di tensione, espressivo e dai colori vivaci. - Sul retro, un secondo disegno a tempera (testa di donna di profilo). - Sul retro della cornice allegata è indicato «RG. Bunk || Iris || Split 1950». - Rudolf Gerhart Bunk fu allievo di Karl Hofer nel 1927 e in seguito studiò alla Scuola di Arti Applicate di Berlino-Charlottenburg. Osteggiato in Germania come espressionista di seconda generazione, dal 1938 visse inizialmente in Jugoslavia, ma fuggì dalla Wehrmacht rifugiandosi in Italia e in Egitto. Nel 1945 tornò a Spalato, dove ebbe successo come scenografo presso il Teatro Popolare locale. Nel 1958 si trasferì ad Amburgo. Cfr. Rump/Bruhns, p. 71
