Testa di donna in alabastro dell’Arabia meridionale Circa I secolo a.C. Altezza 25,5 cm (10 pollici). Esaminata alla luce UV e con lente di ingrandimento 10x. Tracce di pigmento nero conservate sull’acconciatura. Mancano gli intarsi delle sopracciglia; gli intarsi degli occhi, realizzati in conchiglia e calcare, presentano segni di alterazione dovuta agli agenti atmosferici. Graffi e segni di usura superficiale tipici dell’età e del materiale. Scheggiature sull’acconciatura in gesso. Ottimo stato di conservazione dell’intaglio e delle venature naturali su tutta la superficie. Nel complesso, in ottime condizioni e di grande fascino. Vedi immagini aggiuntive.
