Tappeto SIVAS/SÉBASTE Asia Minore. Fine del XIX secolo, inizio del XX secolo Velluto di lana su base di cotone. Un medaglione vegetale a forma di mandorla nei toni del mattone e del grigio topo, con i suoi elementi speculari, è posto su un ampio controtesto oblungo color avorio decorato con arabeschi, a sua volta posizionato su uno sfondo antracite. L’insieme è ricoperto da tralci fioriti e steli vegetali multicolori. La cornice è composta da un bordo principale color mattone con motivo a rami intrecciati, affiancato da sei controbordature policrome; tutti e sette i bordi sono decorati con ghirlande di fiori.
