Tappeto KIRMAN (Iran) Metà del XX secolo. Velluto di lana su base di cotone. Un bordo molto ampio nei toni dell’azzurro cielo, del rosa antico, dell’oro antico, del crema e dell’avorio, non suddiviso in compartimenti, composto da arabeschi e volute, è costituito da mazzi di fiori e steli multicolori che si avvolgono a spirale. Si stende su uno sfondo rubino, dove troneggia un imponente medaglione oblungo polilobato color avorio, ornato da un intricato intreccio vegetale bluasтро che sostiene delicate corolle fiorite.
