Tappeto GHOUM in seta molto originale Iran. Epoca dello Scià, intorno al 1965. Velluto di seta su base di seta. Un campo rosa antico dentellato, con motivi a fiorellini, animaletti, gemme e corolle stilizzate, ospita un medaglione centrale a forma di losanga dentellata color avorio, con il centro antracite e oro antico decorato con motivi vegetali. Due «Faravahar» (simbolo dello zoroastrismo) color oro antico dentellati, con remigie e caselle esagonali incastonate di pietre antracite, incorniciano l’insieme. Bordo color avorio con una serie di «pappagalli doppi» multicolori, affiancato da «cani da caccia» in positivo/negativo. Passamaneria in oro antico. Splendida decorazione caucasica «Kabristan».
