Un Corano, copiato da Mohamed Al Husaini Al Badi, India, datato 1298 AH/1880 d.C., manoscritto arabo su carta, 64 fogli, 3 fogli volanti, 34 linee di scrittura naskh nera all’interno di fasce a forma di nuvole sulla pagina, con sottili margini dorati tracciati in blu e nero, commenti marginali (numerologici, che segnalano occorrenze del numero 812?) in shikasteh, il bifoglio iniziale miniato con esuberante decorazione floreale su fondo dorato e blu sotto archi a sesto acuto con cuspidi, 5 ll. di scrittura simile all’interno di un piccolo riquadro rettangolare in mezzo a un’ulteriore decorazione profusa, con un cartopouche a cuspidi in arancione nella parte superiore; i margini presentano due viticci floreali intrecciati, in copertina coeva, con dorso rifatto, 25,3 x 14,7 cm, foglio 25,3 x 14,3 cm.
