Dimensioni del foglio: 31 x 44 cm. Cfr. Musei della città di Dresda, Galleria comunale di Dresda, n. di inventario: 1978/k 204. - Questa splendida veduta di Dresda, realizzata da Adrian Zingg (1734-1816), pioniere della moderna pittura paesaggistica dresdese, mostra la sagoma della «Firenze sull’Elba» vista dalla riva destra, con il ponte di Augusto, la Frauenkirche, il Castello della Residenza con la Hofkirche e le Terrazze di Brühl sullo sfondo. Nella coloritura, probabilmente successiva, sono soprattutto le figure di contorno a creare accenti cromatici ricchi di contrasto nel paesaggio dal verde intenso. - Leggermente ingiallito e macchiato, con alcuni tagli in parte ritoccati, due piccole mancanze ai margini in basso a sinistra.
