Wedewer p. 476 (cfr.) - Köster, Bibbia n. 114. - Edizione in folio non catalogata da Wedewer, recante il visto di censura della 43ª edizione di Würzburg del 1705. Dietenberger divenne famoso soprattutto grazie alla sua traduzione della Bibbia, pubblicata per la prima volta a Magonza nel 1534. Con essa intendeva fornire una resa in tedesco il più fedele possibile al testo della Vulgata (NDB III, 667). Le tavole in rame raffigurano ciascuna 15 scene dell’Antico Testamento. A questo esemplare non sono allegate le tavole relative al Nuovo Testamento. - Iscrizione di proprietà coeva sul risguardo, timbro sul frontespizio in rame e sul frontespizio, 2 fogli con margini mancanti integrati, leggermente ingialliti. *
