Provenienza: Collezione privata, Regno Unito. Nota: Steadman nacque a Bilston, nello Staffordshire. Divenne un pittore specializzato in paesaggi e vedute costiere, e fu membro e presidente del Liver Sketching Club. Ha esposto alla Royal Birmingham Society of Artists, alla Manchester Academy of Fine Arts, alla Royal Society of British Artists, alla Royal Cambrian Academy e alla Walker Art Gallery di Liverpool.
