Provenienza: Asta Cowdray: Opere d’arte provenienti da Cowdray Park e Dunecht, Christie’s, Londra, 14 settembre 2011, lotto 683. Proprietà di un nobile. Nota: Accompagnato dall’incisione di Luyken raffigurante la stessa scena, montata sul retro del foglio. L’opera in questione è uno schizzo preparatorio per questa incisione dedicata alla rivolta ugonotta di Lione del 1621, che raffigura il caos della rivolta ugonotta di Lione del 1621, con figure che bruciano oggetti saccheggiati in un falò al centro della scena.
