FRANCISCO SALÉS ROVIRALTA (Barcellona, 1904 – Parigi, 1976). Senza titolo, 1972. Tecnica mista su carta. Firmato e datato. Dimensioni: 48 x 31 cm; 63 x 48 cm (cornice). Francisco Sales iniziò la sua formazione fin da bambino sotto la guida dello scultore Enrique Bassas. All’età di vent’anni entrò a far parte del Círculo Artístico e si iscrisse alla Scuola di Belle Arti di Barcellona. Tenne la sua prima mostra alle Galerías Layetanas nel 1930. Dopo la Guerra Civile, lavorò ed espose in Francia. Membro del Salon des Indépendants di Parigi dal 1945, espose nelle gallerie più prestigiose della capitale francese, quali Mirador (1953), Epona (1960) e Angle du Faubourg (1961). Attualmente, le opere di questo pittore sono conservate presso il Musée de la Ville de Paris, i Musei d’Arte Contemporanea di Madrid e Toledo, il Museo Provinciale di Vitoria, il Museo delle Belle Arti di Bilbao e la Consiglio Provinciale di Barcellona.
