Pittore, designer e scenografo, Pep Sallés ha seguito a modo suo gli insegnamenti multidisciplinari promossi dal Bauhaus. Si può affermare che si sia dedicato anima e corpo alla pittura, creando un linguaggio semplice e armonioso in cui predominano forme geometriche dai toni piatti. La sua opera colpisce per la spontaneità e la fusione di stili diversi quali il surrealismo, la pittura metafisica e l’astrazione. Le sue composizioni sono caratterizzate dall’interazione tra piani piatti e spazio, o da una prospettiva direttamente correlata al colore.
