Uschebti. Faianza silicea erosa; pigmento scuro. Egitto, Terzo Periodo Intermedio, XXI dinastia, ca. 1069–945 a.C. Altezza 9,8 cm (escluso il piedistallo moderno) Stato di conservazione: forte erosione dello smalto superficiale; iscrizione parzialmente leggibile; base moderna in legno nero. Restauro nella parte inferiore. Descrizione: Uschebti in forma di mummia in piedi, il volto incorniciato da una parrucca liscia a tre parti, le braccia incrociate sul petto, le mani che forse reggono attrezzi agricoli (zappe). Il corpo reca incisa una colonna centrale di geroglifici Provenienza: ex collezione privata francese, acquisita durante un viaggio in Egitto, tra il 1979 e il 1980. Da allora è rimasta nella stessa famiglia.
