Pépé Vignes (francese, 1920-2007) Il pesce, coppa di cuori, vaso di fiori e natura morta con pesche, pere e uva. Quattro disegni. Pennarello o acrilico e matita. Uno su entrambi i lati. Tre firmati e datati, di cui uno con dedica dell’artista. Altezza da 9,5 a 15,5; larghezza da 12 a 29 cm. Provenienza: collezione Laurent Danchin (1946-2017), scrittore, saggista e critico d’arte, per successione familiare. Nato a Parigi, figlio di un bottaio, esercita lui stesso questo mestiere. Pépé Vignes è anche fisarmonicista di bal musette. Stabilitosi a Elne, inizia a disegnare verso i quarant’anni, con penna a sfera e matite colorate. Fiori, barche, pesci e cuori popolano i suoi fogli. Il pittore Claude Massé lo scopre nel 1974. Le sue opere sono conservate presso la Collezione d’Art Brut di Losanna e al LaM.
