Franck Lundangi (angolano, nato nel 1958) Manneken-Pis Legno scolpito policromo, perline. Firmato e dedicato “A Laurent Danchin, aprile 2003”. Altezza 34, Larghezza 15, Profondità 9 cm. Provenienza: collezione di Laurent Danchin (1946-2017), scrittore, saggista e critico d’arte, per successione familiare. Nato a Maquela do Zombo, Lundangi fugge da bambino dalla guerra civile angolana, diventa calciatore professionista nella nazionale, poi si trasferisce in Francia nel 1990. Si dedica al disegno e poi alla scultura su legno galleggiante, costruendo un’Africa immaginaria tra sogno e memoria, partecipando alla mostra «Africa Remix». Laurent Danchin gli dedica il volume *Franck Lundangi, pittore* (Editions de l’Œil / Sankofa & Guril, collana «Les Carnets de la création», luglio 2003).
