BOZZETTO A ACQUERELLO PER LA SALA FUMATORI DELLA CLASSE CABINA DELLA R.M.S. ANDES DELLA ROYAL MAIL LINE, CIRCA 1938 in scala di mezzo pollice, in stile Art Déco, raffigurante il «lato sinistro», la «prua» e la «poppa», con il marchio del produttore Heaton Tabb & Co. Ltd, Londra e Liverpool — 27¼ x 40½ pollici (69 x 103 cm.) Varata nel marzo 1939, la R.M.S. Andes fu immediatamente requisita dall’Ammiragliato per essere utilizzata come nave da trasporto truppe; parte delle attrezzature interne fu rimossa e successivamente distrutta durante il Blitz. Restituita nel 1948 per il servizio nel dopoguerra, l’Andes fu rimessa a nuovo e ebbe una carriera di successo prima di essere demolita nel 1971.
