290 - BOURDIER Jean Simon, nominato maestro orologiaio il 22 settembre 1787. Magnifico orologio a pendolo con base a portico in bronzo dorato e marmo bianco. Raffigura due figure femminili drappeggiate all’antica in bronzo con patina nera, appoggiate su pilastri. Il quadrante, firmato JS Bourdier, è in smalto bianco con cifre arabe. È circondato da eleganti motivi traforati raffiguranti fiori, grappoli d’uva, grano e strumenti musicali. È sormontato da una testa radiosa circondata da corna dell’abbondanza. Il bilanciere ha la forma di una nuvola radiante. Altezza: 67 x 50 x 15 (cfr. asta del 24/11/2012 presso Ivoire Enchères a Troyes, lotto 102). Epoca: primissimi anni del XIX secolo.
