In-8 (20 x 12,5 cm), mezza pelle di vitello marrone con angoli, dorso con larghe nervature decorato con rotelle dorate e fioroni stampati. Tagli marmorizzati. Rilegatura d’epoca firmata Schultes in calce al volume 1. 17 volumi non collazionanti (serie completa). Diversi angoli forati, macchie di ruggine sparse. Nuova edizione collettiva pubblicata a Bruxelles delle opere complete di Madame de Staël, curata dal figlio (Auguste-Louis de Staël-Holstein) e preceduta da una nota sul carattere e gli scritti di Madame de Staël redatta da Madame Necker de Saussure, sua cugina. Bellissimo cofanetto decorativo, completo di 17 volumi, molto ben realizzati in una raffinata rilegatura romantica dell’epoca firmata da Schultes, rilegatore del Re.
