BACCARAT - Inizio del XIX secolo. Coppa a ventaglio in cristallo stampato e satinato, con decorazioni raffiguranti farfalle, carpe koi e vegetazione asiatica. Modello creato nel 1878. Firma in rilievo nello stampo. Altezza: 13,5 cm Riferimento: «Le Génie verrier de l’Europe» di Giuseppe Cappa, edito da Mardaga. La cristalleria di Baccarat segna l’apogeo del movimento japonista in Francia in occasione dell’Esposizione Universale di Parigi del 1878. In quel periodo, la maison stravolge le proprie tradizioni geometriche per integrare l’estetica asimmetrica e naturalista proveniente dal Giappone.
