Sigisbert François MICHEL (1728-1811), da un modello di Vaso dell’Acqua Biscuit Base su piedistallo in legno Altezza: 38 cm (restauri, parti mancanti) Sigisbert François MICHEL è uno dei fratelli maggiori di Clodion. Realizzò numerosi vasi, tra cui una coppia di modelli in gesso raffiguranti l’Acqua e il Vino, che presentò alla mostra dell’Accademia di Saint-Luc nel 1774. Questi modelli furono ampiamente diffusi e riproposti da numerose manifatture in diversi materiali. Un modello simile è conservato al Museo Lorrain di Nancy (n. di inventario 84.6.1).
