Una rara e ben intagliata copertina tibetana in legno dorato per il Sutra della Prajnaparamita XV secolo Al centro è raffigurata, intagliata in profondità, la Prajnaparamita a quattro braccia che regge un vajra e un sutra, collocata all’interno di una nicchia ad arco sormontata da un Garuda, affiancata da due divinità Paramita su ciascun lato, il tutto racchiuso da fasce di petali di loto; un lato presenta al centro una pagoda affiancata da fogliame e da un carattere tibetano a un'estremità, 73x30x4,3 cm. Provenienza: collezione privata del Nord dell’Inghilterra, e da allora tramandata per via ereditaria. A & N Aux C.S.L. (etichetta) (Army & Navy Auxiliary C. S. Ltd.), timbrata da M. S. Malone l’11 luglio.
