Rembrandt Harmensz. van Rijn (1606 Leida - Amsterdam 1669), Autoritratto con il berretto tirato in avanti. Acquaforte con tocchi di puntasecca su carta a trama. (1630 circa). 6,1 x 5,4 cm (foglio). Bartsch 319; White/Boon 319 VI (di VI); Hinterding/Rutgers (The New Hollstein) 71 X (di X). Una bella impressione tardiva di questo autoritratto molto raro, con i bordi della lastra macchiati d’inchiostro e ampi margini. Realizzato intorno al 1630, l’Autoritratto con il berretto calato sulla fronte appartiene alla serie di autoritratti di piccole dimensioni che Rembrandt realizzò all’inizio della sua carriera. L’immagine intima ritrae il giovane artista da vicino, con il berretto calato che gli nasconde parzialmente il volto e trasforma il ritratto in un sottile studio di ombre e carattere. – Il foglio presenta alcune lievi macchie di ossidazione. Una leggera piega della carta lungo il bordo sinistro della lastra. Sul retro sono visibili tracce di un vecchio montaggio, lievi abrasioni superficiali e una piccola macchia. Per il resto in buone condizioni. Tassazione: tassazione differenziale (IVA: regime del margine).
