In 8vo, rilegatura in cartone rigido dell’epoca dell’editore, leggermente rifilata. Testo con macchie sparse e lievi aloni di ossidazione. Completo: 532 pagine, ritratto di Ottone, veduta di Atene e mappa pieghevole della Grecia (40 x 28 cm). Iscrizione autografa di William St Clair, eminente ellenista, sulla pagina di guardia anteriore, con sua nota aggiuntiva sulla veduta di Atene. Nel complesso in ottime condizioni e con ottima provenienza. Una presentazione dettagliata del nuovo Stato greco indipendente ad opera di uno scrittore tedesco che prese parte alla prima spedizione bavarese in Grecia.
