Proveniente dallo smantellamento di una villa di un industriale della Germania meridionale. Il dipinto si ispira all’opera di Jean Raoux «Una giovane donna che dà da mangiare a un uccellino» ed è stato arricchito, dal punto di vista compositivo, con la figura dell’uomo anziano.
