△ Paul Delvaux (Wanze, 1897 – Furnes, 1994) Le Laid 1962 Punta secca Firmato a matita nel margine in basso a destra Numerato a sinistra E/A Immagine: 36 × 29 cm; foglio (a vista): 44 × 35 cm; con cornice: 76 × 62,5 cm Paul Delvaux aveva illustrato con 16 incisioni *Le Pays des miroirs*, una raccolta di tre racconti scritti da Claude Spaak, pubblicata a Parigi nel 1962. Una serie di prove di stampa donata dall’autore ai Musei Reali delle Belle Arti del Belgio nel 1965 è conservata presso tali musei con il numero di inventario Inv. 7349 / 1-16.
