SCUOLA FRANCESE del XVIII secolo "Ritratto di Madame Marie-Françoise de Bourbon, duchessa d'Orléans" 1710 Olio su tela Non firmato, datato in alto a destra Cornice in stile Luigi Filippo in legno con patina dorata, decorata con volute fogliate A 70 x L 59 cm Interventi di restauro, lacune nello strato pittorico. Riteloio. Françoise-Marie de Bourbon, detta la “Seconda Mademoiselle de Blois”, nacque a Maintenon il 2 maggio 1677 e morì a Parigi il 1° febbraio 1749. Figlia legittimata del re Luigi XIV e della sua amante ufficiale Madame de Montespan, in seguito al matrimonio con Filippo d’Orléans divenne duchessa di Chartres e poi duchessa d’Orléans. Durante la minore età del re Luigi XV, suo marito fu nominato reggente di Francia. Donna orgogliosa e fiera, organizzò matrimoni prestigiosi per i suoi otto figli.
