TAPIOVAARA Ilmari (1914-1999) ASKO (Prodotto da) Sedia modello «Pirkka» in pino e betulla tinti di nero, schienale a fascia ricurva. Base affusolata e svasata. Seduta composta da due assi di pino separate. Reca sul retro della seduta i marchi a fuoco dell’editore «ASKO» e «Tapiovaara design – made in Finland», oltre a un marchio a forma di stella. Modello creato nel 1955. Altezza 76 cm – Larghezza 40 cm – Profondità 43 cm - Storia. Ilmari Tapiovaara è stato disegnatore e poi direttore artistico presso Asko prima di aprire il proprio studio nel 1951. La serie «Pirkka», ispirata ai mobili contadini finlandesi, è stata prodotta da Asko e da Laukaan Puu ed è ancora oggi presente nel catalogo di Artek.
