XXXV-330 pp. - 17 tavole. Mezza pelle verde, dorso a 4 nervature finte ornate con motivi dorati, fioroni a freddo tra le nervature, tagli marmorizzati. (Rilegatura d'epoca). - Bell’esemplare, ben rilegato. Sulla pagina di frontespizio reca una dedica manoscritta e un timbro a umido. Le 17 tavole ripiegate, incise al tratto da Adam su disegno dell’autore, raffigurano figure geometriche. Pierre-Charles-François Dupin (Varzy, nella Nièvre, 1784 - Parigi 1873) è il fratello di André-Marie-Jean-Jacques, personaggio politico di spicco della Nièvre. Questo ingegnere del Politecnico fu allievo di Monge e amico di Carnot. (Guéneau, Dict. Biogr. du Nivernais, pp. 65-66, che non cita questo libro – Quérard II, p. 699).
