TIBET - XV secolo Coppia di copertine (superiore e inferiore) per sutra. La lastra superiore è profondamente scolpita con un riquadro rettangolare incorniciato da fregi di petali di loto e da fregi a perline, raffiguranti tre divinità sedute su troni d'oro e file di monaci. Il piatto inferiore è scolpito con le stesse cornici e con un vaso zampillante da cui sgorgano volute vegetali che formano medaglioni popolati dagli otto simboli di buon auspicio (ashtamangala) e da bodhisattva. Tracce di doratura. 12,8 x 37,7 cm
