Ritratto ovale a mezzo busto di un personaggio probabilmente raffigurato come generale (simile a Julius Jakob Freiherr von Haynau (1786 - 1853)) con baffi ricci e giubba militare chiara con risvolti rossi. Al centro a destra, firma illeggibile e data «1872». Sul retro, su un’etichetta adesiva, attribuito al barone Wilhelm von Lersner, capitano di cavalleria.
